
After six months of turmoil, control of London Welsh was recently regained by the former shareholders of the Club. This link to the Sunday Telegraph sums up the issue:

The result is that the club has a major hole in its finances caused by the failure of former Chairman, Neil Hollinshead and his company Red Dragon Rugby to pay the £1m pledged before the beginning of the season – this is why the Club needs your support.
London Welsh are third in the Championship, with a real chance of reaching winning it. Our team is going brilliantly on the pitch and we are unbeaten in the British and Irish Cup. Everything is possible.
Kelvin Bryon has underwritten the money needed until the end of January. We need to raise a £500,000 fighting fund to get us safely to the end of the Season.
London Welsh has an ambitious and realistic plan for next season, but need to be at the starting line to be able to put it into place.
