New Book: John Dawes - the man who changed the world of rugby

Legendary London Welsh Captain John Dawes will be discussing his new book ’The man who changed the world of rugby’ at the London Welsh Literature Festival on Saturday October 5th. John will be in conversation with WRU poet-in-residence Owen Sheers who will be sharing his experience of spending a year with the players and getting to the heart of Welsh rugby, all described in his book ‘Calon’.

Other guests speaking at this all-day event include Huw Edwards, 2013 Eisteddfod winner Ifor ap Glyn, Mary Meddlicott, Peter Daniels, a fantastic line-up of Welsh poets and an entire evening allocated to the Dylan Thomas Centenary celebrations.
