Biography
Now the most senior member of the London Welsh squad, Rob passed 150 appearances for the club during the 2015/16 season. Already a double Championship winner with the Exiles, the scrum half added a British and Irish Cup winner's medal last season, most memorably setting up brother James for the first of his three tries in Welsh's victory over Yorkshire Carnegie in the final.

In total, Rob made 24 appearances for Welsh in 2015/16 scoring one try.

The 2014/15 season had seen Rob become just the thirteenth player to reach the milestone of 100 league appearances for the club, and he needed just three minutes to mark the occasion by racing clear to score against Sale Sharks.

Rob is in his second spell with the Club having rejoined in December 2012 on loan from Cardiff Blues. He made the return move permanent at the end of that season.

In his first spell at the Exiles, Rob made 80 appearances, including scoring 11 tries, over three seasons at Old Deer Park, culminating in playing a leading role in the club's Championship winning season. He joined the Blues in the summer of 2012.

A graduate of the Newport Gwent Dragons Academy, Rob has gained representative honours for Wales at U18, U19 and U20 levels, and was top try scorer in the Wales U19 side that won the Grand Slam in 2006.

He made his debut for the Dragons against Munster at Musgrave Park in November 2007, and went onto make 17 appearances for the senior side. He also played for Ebbw Vale.

Called in to the Wales Sevens squad in February 2008 for the IRB Sevens tournaments in Wellington and San Diego, he and brother James became the first twins to represent Wales at senior level.

The scrum-halves' return to London Welsh saw him again team up with James, who joined the Exiles in November 2010.
