The prop couldn't stop scoring at one stage last season, touching down five times in four games, including a try in Welsh's British and Irish Cup final victory over Yorkshire Carnegie and a brace against Ealing Trailfinders.

Nathan made his 50th league appearance for the club against Yorkshire Carnegie - an occasion he marked with a try during his try scoring purple patch. In total, Nathan scored six tries in 22 appearances in 2015/16.

Injury delayed Nathan's involvement during the club's Aviva Premiership season in 2014/15, but he still went on to make 15 Premiership appearances in that campaign.

The prop had been ever-present during the Exiles' Championship winning campaign of 2013/14 and showed he was no stranger to the tryline, scoring an important try in the 1st leg of the final against Bristol. One of five tries he notched in 22 Championship appearances.

When he joined Welsh in 2013 Nathan renewed links with former Blues coach Justin Burnell.

The loosehead prop had signed for the Blues in the summer of 2011 having made his debut for the region against Harlequins in the LV= Cup in February of that year. He went on to make made a total of 33 appearances for the Blues, scoring one try.

A product of St Albans RFC in Cardiff, Nathan made his debut for Cardiff RFC during the 2003/04 season and went onto make 96 appearances for the club, scoring two tries. He was capped by Wales at Under 19 level and has also had spells with Glamorgan Wanderers and Pontypridd.
