Ben made huge strides during the 2014/15 season, forcing his way into the side as the season went on. In total, Ben made ten Premiership appearances, and 18 appearances in all competitions. He scored two tries.

Ben made light of the step up from Cinderford to the Championship to make a total of 26 appearances for the Exiles in 2013/14 in all competitions. His debut try for the Club came in the win over Edinburgh Academical at Old Deer Park in December 2013.

The promising second row had arrived at London Welsh after two seasons in National League One with Cinderford.

In early 2013 he'd also helped England Counties regain the inaugural Jean Claude Baque trophy for the first time since 2009, with a 27-7 win over France Federale at Ealing Trailfinders.

In May 2013 he was selected to represent Gloucestershire in the Bill Beaumont Cup.

Ben joined Cinderford from Newbury in 2011, having been named Newbury's Most Improved Player in 2010/11.
