The 2015/16 campaign saw Ben cement his place in the London Welsh second row, making a further 26 appearances to pass 50 appearances for the club. He also crossed twice last season, in the win at Moseley and in the draw away to Cornish Pirates.

Ben had made huge strides during the 2014/15 season, forcing his way into the side as the season went on. In total, he made ten invaluable Premiership appearances that year.

He'd already made light of the step up from Cinderford to the Championship to make a total of 26 appearances for the Exiles in his debut season for the club in 2013/14. His debut try for the club came against Edinburgh Academical at Old Deer Park in December 2013.

The second row had arrived at London Welsh in the summer of 2013 after two seasons in National League 1 at Cinderford.

In early 2013 he'd also helped England Counties regain the inaugural Jean Claude Baque trophy for the first time since 2009, with a 27-7 win over France Federale at Ealing Trailfinders.

In May 2013 he was selected to represent Gloucestershire in the Bill Beaumont Cup.

Ben joined Cinderford from Newbury in 2011, having been named Newbury's Most Improved Player in 2010/11.
