Biography
London Welsh's Premiership campaign would be a mixed one for Hudson, who was arguably the club's player of the season for the first three months before a shoulder injury suffered in the win over London Irish at the Kassam brought his season to a very premature end.

During his nine appearances, though, he certainly proved himself a player of genuine Premiership ability, marking his Premiership debut with a try in the Exiles' defeat to Leicester Tigers on the opening weekend of the season.

Hudson joined Welsh in 2010 from Doncaster Knights for whom he made 59 appearances in two seasons, scoring 12 tries. In 2008/09 Hudson was part of the Doncaster side which inflicted a first defeat of the season upon Premiership destined Leeds. The centre dropping a goal in the 27-12 win at Castle Park in March 2009.

He capped an excellent debut season for London Welsh by being named Players' Player of the Year. He made 27 appearances in the 2010/11 season and crossed for seven tries, including two in the play-offs at Old Deer Park against Nottingham and Worcester.

During London Welsh's Championship winning season the Tonga international came into his own during the play-offs. It was his try at the Kassam Stadium that ultimately clinched the Championship title, as he dived in under the posts, but he'd come up with some crucial tries prior to that.

His try against Bristol at Old Deer Park secured Welsh the losing bonus point needed to reach the semi-finals, where he then scored the only try of the game in the Exiles' 13-3 first leg win at Goldington Road. In total, Hudson made 28 appearances for Welsh in 2011/12 in all competitions, scoring 12 tries.

Hudson has won 24 caps for Tonga in an international career spanning 2005-11, scoring six tries. He made his debut against Fiji in June 2005 in the Pacific Nations Cup.

In February 2007 Hudson scored two tries as Tonga book their place at the 2007 World Cup with an 85-3 play-off win over South Korea in Auckland.

He was selected in Tonga's World Cup squad, making his only appearance at the tournament as a second half substitute in the 36-20 defeat to England at Parc des Princes
