Biography
The powerful winger has a proven try scoring record in the Championship, crossing ten times during London Welsh's march to the title in 2011/12, including one in the Exiles' first leg final win at the Cornish Pirates.

He had to wait for his chance at the start of that season, but when it arrived he grabbed it with both hands, scoring a brace in Welsh's 24-9 win at Plymouth Albion. In total, Joe made 28 appearances for the club in 2011/12, scoring 12 tries.

In 2012/13 Joe made a total of 11 appearances for the club, scoring two tries, which both came in the 32-31 win over Cavalieri Prato in the Amlin Challenge Cup.

Joe is currently in his second spell at London Welsh, having returned to the club in the summer of 2011. He actually made his debut for the Exiles in August 2009 in a pre-season friendly at Aberavon - an occasion he marked with two tries in a 48-17 win. He also lined up for Welsh two weeks later in a 26-10 win over Swansea.

Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Joe moved to the UK with his family (which includes nine brothers and three sisters) in 1994. He learnt his rugby at Kingswood School in Bath and played for England Students while at St Mary's University College, Twickenham.

He made his name at Richmond RFC and enjoyed a spell at Leicester Tigers as part of the club's development set up, before returning to Richmond for a second spell.

He joined the Scarlets on a development contract in June 2010 on the back of scoring 11 tries in 25 appearances for Llandovery during the 2009/10 season, which also saw him nominated for Principality Player of the Year by the WRU.

His debut for the Scarlets, though, had come in November 2009 against Harlequins in the LV=Cup, in light of his impressive performances for Llandovery. He made a further five appearances for the Scarlets that season, and eight more in 2010/11.
