Epi Taione signs for London Welsh

London Welsh have secured the signature of one of the most versatile players in world rugby, Epi Taione.

Taione has had a career that encompasses Premiership rugby with Newcastle Falcons, Sale Sharks and Harlequins. He then moved to South Africa where he played Super 14 for Natal Sharks before moving to France to play for Racing Metro in Paris.

The 6'4'' Tonga'n international can play back row, centre or wing and is a major new signing for Phil Greening's new look London Welsh. He has also represented the Pacific Islanders and the Barbarians.
