Biography
Dominic joined London Welsh from near neighbours London Irish after impressing during a loan spell at
Old Deer Park last season.
He made a big impact in his short spell at the Dragons after making his debut away to Rotherham against Kevin Maggs. The following week would see Dominic mark his home debut with a try in the
Dragons’ 39-25 win over Otley, and set up Paul Sampson for the clubs Try of the Season.
An injury sustained in his third appearance for Welsh, at home to Plymouth Albion, brought his season to a premature end.
A product of the London Irish Academy, Dominic joined the Exiles in July 2002 whilst studying at
Wellington College, Crowthorne.
He signed a full time contract with the club in July 2004, making his debut against Leicester Tigers in March the following year and going on to make a total of 14 senior appearances for the Exiles, scoring one try.
Dominic has represented England at U16, U18, U19, U21 and Sevens levels and played in the Commonwealth Youth Games in Australia in 2004. He has previously also played for Richmond RFC and the Samurai Sevens.
Dominic also brings European experience to Old Deer Park having made his Heineken Cup debut against Toulouse in January 2007, as well as making two appearances in the European Challenge Cup. He has wealth of experience of the IRB Sevens circuit, representing England at Dubai, George, Wellington and San Diego during the 2006/07 Series and then at Wellington and San Diego in 2008.
