Biography
Hudson Tonga置iha will be a familiar face to London Welsh supporters having spent two seasons at Doncaster Knights.
The Tonga international formed half a formidable centre partnership with Bevon Armitage, going to make 59 appearances, scoring 12 tries.
In 2008/09 Tonga置iha was part of the Doncaster side which inflicted a first defeat of the season upon Guinness Premiership destined Leeds. The centre dropping a goal in the 27-12 win at Castle Park in March 2009.
Last season, Castle Park also proved the undoing of Bristol with Tonga置iha part of the side that took Bristol痴 scalp 26-22.
Tonga置iha won 19 caps for Tonga in an international career spanning 2005-09, and scored five tries. He made his debut against Fiji in June 2005 in the Pacific Nations Cup.
In February 2007 Tonga置iha scored two tries as Tonga book their place at the 2007 World Cup with an 85-3 play-off win over South Korea in Auckland.
He was selected in Tonga痴 World Cup squad, making his only appearance at the tournament as a second half substitute in the 36-20 defeat to England at Parc des Prince's.
